You’ll find The Watch House just by
the harbour wall in the centre of

A former customs and excise house, then
later a pilchard press, its no-nonsense
functional past is echoed in the white
walled, simply furnished interior.
Split over two floors, with cosy dining
booth seating downstairs and jaw-dropping
views across the harbour upstairs,
it’s a relaxed and comfortable place to
enjoy lunch or dinner. Chef owner Will
Gould makes full use of the dayboat
fish and local produce in his appealing
menus. You can also grab fish and chips
