L’EPÉE 1839 TIME FAST BUCHERER BLUE

L’Epée, famous for its finely crafted clocks

that range from the traditional to the fanciful,

is mostly known for its collaborative efforts

with MB&F, resulting in some of the most

original table clocks ever made. This time,

though, L’Epée teams up with high-end

retailer Bucherer to create a unique series

of the Time Fast clock, shaped like a singleseater

race car from a bygone era.

Made of an aluminium body and finished

in signature Bucherer Blue, the time is visible

on the left-hand side of the 40cm long and

4.7kg heavy car. The two black and white

cylinders for the hours and minutes rotate as

time progresses. The entire in-house movement

is wound by pulling back the car similar

to a friction toy car. The power reserve is

8 days. Limited to 18 pieces. CHF 33,000.
