<strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf & Country Resort (“TGCR”), a subsidiary of<br />
<strong>Tropicana</strong> Corporation Berhad (“<strong>Tropicana</strong>”), celebrated another<br />
achievement with the Clean Food Premises Award, organised<br />
by Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (“MBPJ”). Graced by Petaling<br />
Jaya Mayor Mohamad Azhan Md Amir, the accolade recognises<br />
eateries that fulfil MBPJ’s criteria for an “A” mark in cleanliness.<br />
<strong>The</strong> recognition is a testament to <strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf & Country<br />
Resort’s continuing focus on Redefining the Art of Living. Allan<br />
Wong, Executive Director, Project of <strong>Tropicana</strong>, shared more on<br />
the achievement.<br />
“As our pioneering resort-themed development, <strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf<br />
& Country Resort constantly strives for the highest standards in<br />
quality, service and more. We are honoured by MBPJ’s recognition<br />
of the team’s efforts, and hope that the Clean Food Premises<br />
Award as a platform can continue to inspire the industry to ever<br />
greater heights. I would like to extend our deepest thanks and<br />
appreciation to the team for all their hard work and commitment,<br />
without which none of this would be possible,” he elaborated.<br />
<strong>Tropicana</strong> was recognised in the Hotel/Clubhouse category,<br />
introduced by MBPJ in 2022. In total, 111 premises, including cafes,<br />
bakeries, hotels, and food courts, were shortlisted for evaluation<br />
this year, with 84 selected for recognition following panel judging.<br />
<strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf & Country Resort received a score of 87 out of an<br />
average of 78.4 for selected premises.<br />
Established in 1992, <strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf & Country Resort offers<br />
country living with city convenience, set within a lush and safe<br />
oasis spanning 625 acres in Selangor. It recently introduced its<br />
Abundance of Prosperity Lunar New Year menu in collaboration<br />
with Spring Garden restaurant, just in time for the festive season.<br />
