Public Notice is hereby given that the Rural Municipality of Last Mountain Valley No. 250<br />
pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act 2007, intends to adopt a<br />
bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 219/2001.<br />
It is proposed to amend the Zoning Bylaw 219/2001 as follows:<br />
1. By amending Zoning District Map #1 to rezone the NE of Section 11 Township 25 Range<br />
22 West of the 2nd Meridian from “Agricultural” (A) to “Commercial District” (C); and<br />
identify it as “Insert 7”.<br />

The reason for the proposed amendment is to permit the construction and operation of a<br />
Fertilizer plant.<br />
The Bylaw may be inspected by any interested person at the Municipal Office in Govan<br />
during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 pm. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30<br />
p.m. excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost.<br />
Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Municipal Office Council<br />
Chambers at 10:00 a.m. to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the<br />
proposed bylaw. Council will also consider any written submissions received at the hearing,<br />
or delivered to the undersigned before the hearing.<br />
