AUTOMATION
Continued from page 42
“Standard colours are straightforward, because
you have a good idea of what requirements are
going to come through the door,” he said.
“But when we look at non-standard colours,
there’s no point guessing. The reality is that trends
change. So, what might be a banana yellow job
today might be a sky-blue job tomorrow. Why hold
stock of those?”
COME AND SEE US AT FIT
We talk to Ron Crowl, General Manager for the Window, Door & Glass vertical
at Cyncly, to find out what’s in store for visitors to it’s FIT Show stand.
Window Designer, Greg explained, not only
manages stock holding according to demand, but
also builds in the cost of potential waste.
“With standard colours, you want to make sure
your prices are keen, so Window Designer will
optimise the lengths and keep enough stock to be
reactive to demand,” he continued.
“With non-standard colours, the whole pack price
is taken into account when pricing orders. This
means that window fabricators can confidently
price jobs with unusual colours without worrying
that any profits will be tied up in unused stock.”
“What might be a
banana yellow job
today might be a skyblue
job tomorrow”
Efficiencies like this are key for window fabricators
to remain agile in an ever-changing market, Greg
argued, while keeping a close eye on cash flow.
“If you access our software via a subscription
model, there are several tools that you can add
as you grow your business. And the benefit of the
subscription model is that you only ever pay for
those modules once you need them.
“We are looking to bring on new product
developments and innovations as we grow Cyncly
in the UK,” he continued. “We’ll be explaining how
and at the FIT Show. Come and talk to us on stand
Q15 to find out more.”
Cyncly is the new international powerhouse
behind a portfolio of software products
developed for the window, door and glass
industry in the UK.
Cyncly’s brands include First Degree Systems,
SoftTech, FeneTech, and Contract ERP. On
Stand Q15 at the FIT Show, they will be talking
to customers and the wider industry about how
they can help them achieve their goals.
“Our new brand, Cyncly, unites us and
encompasses our passion to drive innovation to
enable our customers to be more successful,”
Cyncly’s General Manager of Windows, Doors &
Glass Ron Crowl said. “We are transforming the
way our customers do business, enabling them
to simplify complexity, grow sales, increase
efficiency, and drive innovation.
“Bringing together best-in-industry solutions
from all our brands, Cyncly helps everyone
in the value chain make their work and the
outcomes for their customers amazing.”
For many window fabricators, the Window
Designer product range from Cyncly company
First Degree Systems is the engine that drives
their operations. Users typically purchase the
software via a subscription model, and add
modules as their business grows.
“For example, a small start-up may just have
a chop saw and maybe three or four people
on the shop floor,” Ron explained. “They will
want to start with a simple configurator, but
as they grow, we have a product suite we
can customise that will allow them to work
smarter. This could include improved stock
management, increased workflow, and better
customer management.”
Ron explained that by drawing on the expertise
in the rest of the group, Window Designer
users will have access to a broad new product
offering that will complement their existing
fenestration software.
“And that’s what we can’t wait to talk about
at the FIT Show,” Ron continued. “Product
development and innovation is happening
right now, which will help simplify processes,
improve efficiencies, and maximise margin.”
“Come and visit us on stand Q15 at the FIT
Show where we will discuss how we can help
you achieve your goals and overcome your
challenges.”
