Booking an Event<br />
All bookings are for events held 1st June <strong>2023</strong> – 30th<br />
August <strong>2023</strong> and will be held over Zoom, Facebook,<br />
YouTube or in person.<br />
Spaces fill up quickly so we recommend you book in<br />
as soon as you can. If you can no longer attend, please<br />
contact a member of staff or cancel online so it can be<br />
offered to someone on the waiting list.<br />
If your chosen event is booked out, join our waiting list.<br />
We will contact you if tickets become available.<br />

Visit wml.vic.gov.au and select the ‘Events’ tab. You<br />
can search for the event name or browse by category,<br />
audience, language or month. Click on the event and<br />
click the red ‘Register for event’ button on the righthand<br />
side. Please make sure your details are correct<br />
as a staff member may need to contact you regarding<br />
your event.<br />

Looking for a new way to express your creativity?<br />
Don't have time to write a whole book? Whether you're<br />
just starting out or are a seasoned creator, zines* are<br />
a great DIY method to publish your own art, poems,<br />
writing, musings, or anything at all in a welcoming,<br />
inclusive environment – and publication only takes as<br />
long as a trip to the photocopier!<br />
Note: Our June meeting will be a workshop with Liz,<br />
a zine artist from the Sticky Institute, which sells and<br />

The Writers Group is a series of free skills development workshops open to writers with all levels of experience living<br />
with a disability. This is a facilitated writing group led by an experienced writing mentor, Jenny Hedley. Sessions<br />
will include a tutorial with a guest writer with disability and will make use of films and other resources from Writers<br />
Victoria’s Writeability Archive. The writing group will be held monthly from June to December <strong>2023</strong>.<br />

from her family how to eat off the land and surrounding waters. Samantha understands the nutritional properties<br />
and diversity of Australian bush foods, and now wants to help others introduce native foods into their kitchens. She<br />
