SHORE CLEANUP 

#CATCH AND CLEAN 

As enthusiastic anglers, we are not only excited about great 

fish, fast boats and modern technology on board. We also take 

responsibility for our waters and the preservation of habitats. 

With the WPC's Shore Cleanup Program, we and all participants 

will take responsibility for our environment. In order to 

be allowed to take part in a tournament, all anglers have to 

do a shore cleanup at their home-waters. 

According to the motto #CatchAndClean: 

The participants receive garbage bags, which Cooperation 

with the NGO #catchandclean be made available 

Als enthusiastische Angler feuen wir uns nicht nur über 

tolle Fische, schnelle Boote und moderne Technik an 

Bord. Wir übernehmen auch Verantwortung für unsere 

Gewässer und den Erhalt der Habitate. 

Mit dem Shore Cleanup Programm der WPC werden wir 

und alle Teilnehmer der Verantwortung für unsere 

Gewässer gerecht. 

Für die Zulassung zur Turnierteilnahme müssen alle 

Angler am eigenen Hausgewässer zur Müll-Sammel- 

Aktion aufbrechen. Nach dem Motto #CatchAndClean. 

Dafür erhalten die Teilnehmer Müllsäcke, die in 

Zusammenarbeit mit der NGO #catchandclean 

aus Niedersachsen zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

The WPC JuniorCup is a stepping stone for young anglers to experience the professional fishing world 

and kindle their passion for the sport. We invited young anglers from several countries to apply and 

have drawn the pairings to create the JuniorCup, where the dreams of the next generation are given

Boat fishing enjoys growing enthusiasm among children 

and young people. 

In WPC JuniorCup, next generation anglers do now 

have a chance to get in touch with the professionals 

and to make unique experiences. 

A real competition. In a real competition atmosphere. 

Together with professional anglers during WPC World 

Predator Classic 2023 in Holland. 

JuniorCup-Teams are invited, each made up of “Junior” 

and “Accompaniment” 

Juniors: These are young anglers between the ages of 12 

and 17. The companion is of legal age and is considered 

a legal guardian for the competition period. 

Father & daughter, mother & son, siblings or any other 

mating is permissible, a relationship between junior and 

companion is not required. The team does not need a boat. 

In WPC JuniorCup, the team starts together with a 

WPC professional - on their competition boat. 

Applications to participate can have been submitted by 

WPC website. Participation in WPC JuniorCup is free of 

charge. The lot decided. 

A boat team consists of a junior pairing and the 

assigned WPC professional, compeating in a half-day 

fishing tournament according to WPC rules. 

In total there are 3 anglers on board. The WPC app is 

available for the JuniorCup and played live. All marshals 

are involved and the WPC Media crew creates video and 

photo content for the WPC JuniorCup-Video. 

The winners of the WPC JuniorCup will be honored on the 

WPC event stage. 

Many WPC professionals offered their support and 

will compete together with next gerneratoion anglers 

during WPC Junior Cup Event. 

Das Bootsangeln erfreut sich auch bei Kindern und 

Jugendlichen wachsender Begeisterung. 

Der WPC JuniorCup öffnet den Stars von Morgen nun 

eine Türe hin zu den Profis und einem einmaligen

Atmosphäre. Das ganze gemeinsam mit den Profis im 

Rahmen der WPC World-Predator-Classic in Holland. 

Eingeladen sind JuniorCup-Teams, die sich jeweils 

zusammensetzten aus „Junior“ und „Begleitung“ 

Junioren: Das sind Nachwuchs-Angler zwischen 12 

Jahre und 17 Jahre. Die Begleitung ist volljährig und gilt 

für den Wettkampfzeitraum als erziehungsberechtigte 

Person. Vater und Tochter, Mutter und Sohn, Geschwister 

oder jede andere Paarung ist zulässig, eine Verwandschaft 

zwischen Junior und Begleitung ist nicht 

erforderlrich. Und ein Boot braucht das Team nicht, denn: 

Im WPC JuniorCup starten Jugendliche gemeinsam 

mit echten WPC-Profis – auf deren Wettkampf-Booten. 

Bewerbungen zur Teilnahme konnten über die WPC 

Website eingesendet werden. Die Teilnahme am 

WPC JuniorCup ist kostenlos. Das Los hat über die 

Paarungen entschieden. 

Das Boot-Team bestehend aus Junior-Paarung und dem 

zugelosten WPC Profi und tritt nach WPC-Regelwerk in 

einem halbtägigen Angelwettbewerb gegeneinander an. 

Insgesamt sind demnach 3 Angler an Bord. Die WPC-App 

steht auch für den JuniorCup zur Verfügung und wird live 

ausgespielt, ebenso wirken alle Marshalls mit und die 

WPC Media-Crew erstellt Video- und Foto-Content für 

das WPC JuniorCup Video. Am Abend werden die Sieger 

des JuniorCup auf der Event-Bühne der WPC geehrt. 

Viele WPC Profis nehmen als Boat-Captains gerne 

am JuniorCup teil und unterstützen die nächste 

Generation begeisterter Anglerinnen und Angler.
