YOUNG ADULTS

BY JEREMY KING, YOUNG ADULTS PASTOR

called Creative Minority. The series will focus on six aspects

of what it looks like be a Christian, creative minority that

embodies a radical dissimilarity from the world and that

holds out a hopeful promise to the world. Ultimately, this

is what we want to see: a group of young people living in

response to Christ, who are known for living differently and

for the message that they carry.

In many ways, we feel like we’re just getting started, but

we’re so encouraged by how people are collectively convicted

about seeing a community like this form. We would

love for you to come join us on a Thursday Night at 7:30 pm,

as we continue to journey towards seeing a healthy community

that both serves the church body and points the

world to see Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

The fall semester of ministry was unlike any other that I’ve

been a part of. God has been humbling, saving, healing, restoring,

encouraging and empowering those that have been

gathering on Thursday nights!

Our community is growing in depth, in commitment to the

local church and in vision for what God wants to do in our city.

Groups of guys and girls are gathering in coffee shops to read,

talk and pray for each other. A few young adults who have

come to Christ recently will be getting baptized on Sunday,

January 21st and we’re excited to celebrate together at both

the 9 and 11 am services on that day. Four new Alphas are running

in homes and on campuses January through April, and

our goal is to see 25 unchurched people experience Alpha.

Our weekly gathering has moved to the newly renovated

conference hall and we launch a new series January 18th
