Danielle Octavia Hamberg-ten Hoeve
grew up in the Netherlands in a big
family. She got her love for baking from
her mom, who was always cooking and
baking. In 2008 Danielle and her husband
moved their family to the United States
to dairy farm. Because they missed all
the Dutch pastries, she decided to make
her own. It wasn’t long until she decided
to start selling them, so she could share
the Dutch goodies with the people of
Iowa. They have been well received. In
her free time, she loves to garden, go dog
sledding with her huskies, crochet, or
spend time with her family and friends.
