AJ believes it is essential to continue
practising old-school barbering. He is
keen to pass on his knowledge and skills
and has hired new staff. Max is full-time
and states, “I love the environment and
the art of cutting hair” and ” AJ is setting
the footsteps for me to follow”. Lincoln
Barbers is also proud to have Emma, a
female barber who is part-time, with AJ
suggesting, “The industry needs a female
barber, and she is passionate with attention
to detail.”
Owner AJ says, “Our hot towel face shaves
are extremely popular”, and finishing
is their speciality, with tapered haircut
finishes providing a great look, and the hair
grows back evenly. Like the barbershops
of old, Lincoln Barbers and its customised
barbering experience provide a wonderful
social outlet for some good banter. AJ
confirms, “I’m proud that we’ve provided
an environment where people can feel
relaxed enough to chat and be themselves.”
AJ and the team listen to what the customer
wants, take their time to get it right and
go the extra mile to ensure customers are
satisfied with their service, all at a fair
price.
This concept of fairness extends to AJ’s
excellent community spirit, including
special services for the more vulnerable
in the community. Once a month, AJ also
goes to a rest home, where he donates his
services free of charge.
