conferenze, tavole rotonde, film e performance

durante i sei mesi di Mostra; una sessione di

Biennale College dedicata a studenti, laureati,

accademici e professionisti emergenti provenienti

da tutto il mondo…

• A SACRED LANDASCAPE

Sacro e natura in mostra alle Vatican Chapels.

Dieci grandi nomi internazionali della fotografia in

una mostra collettiva pensata per raccontare la

relazione tra la spiritualità e la natura, presentano

con le loro opere un viaggio introspettivo tra

le dieci cappelle permanenti all’interno del parco

della Fondazione Giorgio Cini, realizzate da altrettanti

architetti di fama mondiale in occasione

del primo Padiglione della Santa Sede, alla Mostra

Internazionale di Architettura del 2018.

A large themed exhibition divided into six parts

including 89 participants, more than half of them

from Africa or the African diaspora; 69 national

participations divided between the pavilions at

the giardini, the Arsenal and the historic Centre; 9

collateral events; a special Project in collaboration

with the Victoria and Albert Museum in london;

a cycle of meetings, conferences, round tables,

films and performances during the six months of

the exhibition; a Biennale College session dedicated

to students, graduates, academics and emerging

professionals from all over the world...

These are the highlights of the 18th edition promoted

by the Venice Biennale, under the curatorship

of architect, as well as architecture professor

and writer, Lesley Lokko.

• SAcRed LAndAScAPe. The sacred and nature

on display at the Vatican chapels.

Taking part in a collective exhibition designed to

illustrate the relationship between spirituality

and nature, ten great international names in the

photography scenario present an introspective

journey with their works among the ten permanent

chapels within the Giorgio cini Foundation

park, by as many world-famous architects, for the

occasion of the first Holy See Pavilion at the 2018

International Architecture Exhibition.
