MATT DOOCEY
FOR WAIMAKARIRI
I’m proud of National’s commitment to build the Belfast
to Pegasus motorway including the Woodend Bypass
A privilege to serve
the community
Residents in Waimakariri electorate will be
aware of my work over the years highlighting the
desperate need for the Woodend Bypass.
From my petition to Parliament when the Labour
government cancelled this important project, to
my public rally in 2020, I have not stopped fighting
for our cancelled Belfast to Pegasus motorway
including the Woodend Bypass.
National has announced its Transport for the
Future plan, which will deliver new Roads of
National Significance, better public transport and
will rebuild regions and improve resilience. I am
proud to be part of the National Party that will
build the Belfast to Pegasus Motorway, including
the Woodend Bypass, with construction starting
in the first term of government.
As your local MP I have fought
hard for our communities,
securing important wins - from
a commitment to after-hours
healthcare to better infrastructure,
including the third-laning of SH1 at
the Waimakariri Bridge.
Honouring our veterans.
Advocating for the issues important to
you in Parliament
