Zonta conference inspiring women
MORE THAN 160 business
and professional women from
throughout New Zealand
will be in Christchurch later
this month for the biennial
Zonta International District 16
Conference.
Well-known locally for
activities like the annual Zonta
Sports Awards, recognising
secondary school sportspeople,
and the Yellow Rose Run/Walk
(coming up on October 8 in
Hagley Park), Zonta has 27 clubs
nationwide. Their goal is to
build a better world for women
and girls, locally, nationally and
worldwide, through service and
advocacy.
