many activities and exhibits, from fire engines, aeroplanes, tractors and<br />

Old Stone House Open Day<br />

building, originally built for Sir<br />
John Cracroft Wilson’s Indian workers.<br />
Built in 1870, Old Stone House is<br />
fully restored and reopened in 2018 after<br />
earthquake strengthening and major<br />
repairs. There will be a display of<br />
information on the history of the Old<br />
Stone House from its beginnings to<br />
its current use as a community centre<br />
and event venue. Bagpiper, facepainting,<br />
