How does the new collection disrupt traditional
gender roles and redefine expressions of
femininity and masculinity?
Our S/S24 collection is a very queer interpretation
of fashion, both conceptually in how we’ve
interpreted and resignified motifs, as well as
aesthetically in styling and casting.
Our depiction of gender has always been about
blending symbols of masculinity and femininity
to subvert expectations and push for new, more
progressive, and more fluid understandings of
gender.

How does the Spring/Summer 2024 collection
empower wearers to embrace their bodies and
celebrate the beauty of movement?
With Namilia S/S 24 “In Loving Memory of
My Sugar Daddy,” the cliche of the gold digger
is turned on its head as we play with visual cues
to challenge sexist assumptions. We celebrate
using hyperfemininity and sexuality to get what
you want—and what you fucking deserve.
Sex work is the most literal application of
capitalism, of selling our beings and our bodies
to survive. In this era of digital identity, late-stage
capitalism, and neoliberal politics, sex work should
be decriminalized as one of the oldest forms of
labor.
