In fact, this year it became one of the top destinations in Europe, with the finest

This destination really does offer something for everyone: rousing watersports
on its glittering lakes, a foodie-filled haven of fresh seafood and vineyard
visits along the glamorous coast and islands, and a great treasure trove of
historic culture found in perfectly preserved archaeological sites.
What’s more, Italy is getting featured more frequently on the big and small
screen! Shows like The White Lotus, which was based in Sicily for season
two, and the latest Mission Impossible film taking us to Rome and Venice, has

While Italy is experiencing a renaissance of popularity, we still highly
recommend you consider a holiday here. The key is to book early to avoid
disappointment, as some of the best accommodation fills up really quickly,
whether that’s a lakeside view room in Lake Garda or a suite overlooking the
Mediterranean Sea in the Amalfi Coast.
If you can be flexible with your travel plans, we would also suggest you
consider visiting Italy in the quieter seasons of spring or early autumn, when
the weather is still wonderful, but the crowds are fewer.
