Bishopdale Skate Jam, Saturday 11am-2pm, at Bishopdale Skate<br />

Park, Leacroft St. Join George and his team from Skate Skool and learn<br />

how to skateboard. Great opportunity if just starting out or want to learn<br />

some nifty new tricks. This great have-a-go youth skateboard event has<br />

skate demonstrations, best-trick comps, learn to skate with the Skate<br />

Skool team, and free skateboard hire. Aimed at 8 to 15-year-olds, but<br />

suitable for younger or older audiences and for the family to attend. Held<br />

in conjunction with the community event Celebrate Bishopdale, being<br />

held in the main park. This includes entertaining stage performances from<br />

local school groups, artists and organisations.<br />
