Craft Snippets with artist Monique Tichborne, Wednesday<br />
6.30-7.30pm, Upper Riccarton Library. Craft Snippets is a way to learn<br />
about artisan crafts from enthusiasts and experts who love to share. Go<br />
along this month and meet Monique Tichborne who is a self-taught<br />
artist. Tichborne lives with many limitations due to chronic pain, one<br />
of which has meant being able to work has become obsolete. Her art has<br />
given her much more than just a distraction. After Monique’s talk, you will<br />
be able to look at craft books new to the library as well as chat about what<br />
is happening or coming up craft-wise in and around Canterbury.<br />
