SLEEPY & OLD JOE

Over the years, we have recognized
a lot of folks for their contribution
towards this award. Some
local, and some spread across the
United States. Far and wide, as
they say. But I must admit, the one
person who just keeps making the
same mistakes repeatedly, is our
aging President.
If Biden were my grandfather, I
would protect his dignity and keep
him out of the public’s eye. I get it,
he wanted to be President. Well, he
was elected, he’s serving his four
years, now let him go spend the rest
of his days at his many residences.
I mean, that’s what he’s doing now
anyway. He hides most weekends.
More than any other President in
history. Let him do ANYTHING but
run for president AGAIN.
This country can’t stand another
4 years of an administration that is
seen as weak by damn near every
country on earth. Whether you’re
a fan or Trump or not, you must
admit that during his term in office,
he had the world in check. Perhaps
it was for fear he would nuke them
if they pissed him off. Whatever the
reason, it worked. Maybe you didn’t
like his angry tweets in the middle
of the night or his constant name
calling. But he got the job done. And
with the lowest interest rates in
several decades, not to mention our
energy dominance and the lowest
gas prices in years.
I know some folks will argue
with me saying Trump was the
worst President in the history of
this country, but the facts just don’t
support that. He may have been
the most disliked, but he certainly
wasn’t the worst by any stretch of
the imagination. Hell, even those
that hated Trump, realize Sleepy Ole
Joe can’t make it another term.
So, for God sakes Dems, find
someone else to run and let Joe go.

As for the rest of the LB recipients
over the past 40 years, please take
our lighthearted finger pointing as a
friendly reminder, if you hold public
office every move you make is being
watched. You’re expected to be held
to a higher standard than the rest of
us. That’s the deal. And if you screw
up, you will be judged. Doesn’t
mean you aren’t entitled to another
chance to make things right. But if
you’re arrogant and think the rules
or laws don’t apply to you, then you
will be seen over and over again on
these pages until the angry public
votes you out of office. That’s our
rules.
Finally, on behalf of our entire
staff here at The BLUES, we want to
thank you for supporting our magazine
for 40 years and making us
the Largest Police Magazine on the
Planet. Light Bulb awards and all.
