Michael Barron and Nat Gutierrez, Jr. came up with the idea for a
Newsletter that would ultimately become The County Blues.

Wait a minute. We’re doing all the work,
selling all the ads, and the Union gets the
largest share of the pie. Why is that Nat?
“Well because we’re using THEIR name.”
Uh Huh. I have a better idea, how about
we start our own publication, publish all
the Union news inside of it for a fee, and
we keep 100% of the money.
“Hmm, I’m not sure they will like that,”
says Nat.
Or we can just not include any Union
news and do our own thing.
“Ok well I’m sure they will agree to something
or another.”
