Elmer’s Ōtautahi Elephant<br />

The Elmer’s Ōtautahi Elephant Trail<br />

is a colourful sculpture trail from<br />

Wild in Art in collaboration with<br />

Andersen Press, in support of the<br />

Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust.<br />

The trust is a local, independent<br />

charity that works to equip people<br />

to find new pathways through<br />

life after a brain, spinal, or other<br />

complex injury. Until February 18,<br />

Tūranga will be home to Elmer HQ<br />

from Thursday to Sunday 10am-<br />

3pm. Here you will be able to collect<br />

rewards from the trail, buy Elmer<br />

merch, and find all the information<br />

you need to know.<br />

Kawhe & Kōrero<br />

Thursday, 10-11am<br />

New Brighton Library<br />

Want to practise your reo? Drop in<br />

for a cuppa and build your conversational<br />

kōrero skills with fellow<br />

learners. This session is aimed at<br />

adults who would like to build<br />

confidence speaking te reo Māori in<br />

Dallington Carols in the Park Friday 6.30-8pm at Burwood Park.<br />

Free entertainment for the whole family. Sing along with Sideline Swing.<br />

Special visitor with gifts for the kids. Join in for the annual celebration of<br />

the festive season at Burwood Park (beside the tennis club). Sausage sizzle,<br />

ice creams, and face painting available. The event will be cancelled if wet.<br />
