Eckington Schools join together to honour the fallen<br />
Eckington School, Eckington<br />
Junior School, Birkhill Infant's,<br />
and Camms C of E School, all<br />
joined together for the 3rd year<br />
running to honour the fallen of<br />
Eckington.<br />
Preparaon started the week<br />
before when the poppy net<br />
again went up in St Peters and<br />
St Pauls Church.<br />
Eckington Junior school planted<br />
the poppies around the<br />
Cenotaph.<br />
Camms School and Rainbows<br />
Play Group planted the poppies<br />
in the poppy field.<br />
More poppies were then added<br />
later by Eckington School and<br />
Birkhill Infant's.<br />
Rev Andy gave a lovely service<br />
and for the last post this year<br />
Pete played the bagpipes, and<br />
Jan played the bugle.<br />
MP Lee Rowley also joined the<br />
schools to remember the fallen.<br />
It was a fantasc turnout, and<br />
the sun even came out!<br />
