Welcome to the <strong>Dec</strong>ember <strong>2023</strong> edition of The <strong>Barlborough</strong>,<br />
Clowne & Renishaw Doorsteppa.<br />
Winter has well and truly kicked in now with the temperatures<br />
falling and misty mornings becoming the norm. Things show no<br />
sign of slowing though in the community and there’s a packed<br />
festive calendar of events coming up. To see a few of the many<br />
events this <strong>Dec</strong>ember check out our What’s On section on<br />
pages 42 and 43.<br />
This month we caught up with local American Football Club, the<br />
Sheffield Giants. Flag Football has just been announced as a<br />
new sport added to the Olympic Program for the 2028 summer<br />
games. If you fancy representing Great Britain, or are just<br />
looking to have some fun, then check out our Sport section on<br />
pages 14 and 15 for more info.<br />
Travel Counsellor Lisa Byers again has details of a Lapland<br />
Special for 2024/25. Why not treat yourself and your family to a<br />
