Boasts a wide range of venues
including outdoor deck spaces,
restaurants and bars and great
entertainment. Its newest
restaurant Bocado is a blend of
Spanish Tapas and international
flavours with an array of small
and large plates perfect for
sharing. Plus, you can enjoy live
music every Sunday on the Deck

Pittwater-based since 1926. The
club welcomes boat owners
and social members and their
guests to experience its bars

North Palm Beach Surf Life
Saving Club’s cafe is a must
for devoted Home and Away
fans. Pilgrims clamber off
tourist buses to sample meat
pies, fish and chips and ice
creams bought in fictitious
Summer Bay. The volunteerrun
kiosk is open weekends
and on Tuesdays from
9.30am. Just watch out for
the chip-stealing kookaburra!
Deck this out
The Deck at Whale Beach
Surf Life Saving Club is
the perfect spot to sip a
cheeky Sunday afternoon
glass of chilled wine and
enjoy the ocean views. More
substantial eats include steak
sandwiches with caramelised
onions, BLTs and pies from
award-winning local bakery
Oliver’s Pies. Closed on
Mondays.
Roast by Coast
Rowie Dillon’s Sunday
lunch at Newport Surf Life
Saving Club swings into its
second year. Throughout
January, Rowie’s by the Sea
serves lunch from noon.
This canteen-style pop-up
punches above its weight.
Weekly menus include slowroasted
lamb, Asian baked
barramundi and fancy salads.

Palm Beach Golf Club
Enjoy a beautiful, casual dining
experience with a view across

Newport Bowling Club
Sitting on the corner of
Barrenjoey and Palm Roads
Newport everyone is welcome
to this fantastic little spot for
lawn bowls (with or without
shoes!). There is great little
clubhouse and lovely deck
Take a Captain Cook
Cook Terrace’s impressive
drinks list showcases
everything from Aperol
spritzes, to boozy ginger
beers, Japanese lager and
non-alcoholic cocktails. Food
orders come from The Basin
Dining Room, located on the
other side of the club. Mona
Vale Surf Life Saving Club’s
bar opens Fridays after work
and on Sundays from 1pm
to 7pm.

North Narrabeen Surf Life
Saving Club sells post-surf
snacks including toasties,
wraps and cakes every day
of the week and they have a
full menu from Thursday to
Sunday. Hit Cafe also has a
selection of freshly squeezed
juices and its own brand of
delicious coffee. While you’re
there, pick up a 1kg bag of
beans. Open daily, 6.30am-
2.30pm.
Got you covered
Cabana Beach Kiosk occupies
an upstairs spot at the
rear of South Narrabeen
Surf Life Saving Club. The
covered terrace is the ideal
spot for beachside summer
dining. The breakfast menu
has cafe faves including
homemade pancakes for the
kids, Californian burritos,
and eggs Florentine. Open
Wednesday-Sunday, 7am-
3pm.
