We had a Bring & Share Christmas
lunch at the Pickenhams Hub in
December, with great entertainment
from 'Three's Company'.
We were very well entertained by a Ukulele Concert
at St Andrew's Church on Saturday, 16th December,
with four of our members doing some Christmas
readings. It was with great sadness that we learned
later in the month of the passing of our dear friend
and member Sylvia Sexton who had been such a help
and support to all of us for so long. Sylvia's funeral
service was at the church on 10th January, followed
by tea at the Market Cross Cafe in Swaffham for the
family and friends of Sylvia.
Our January meeting was at Broom Hall, Saham
Toney, followed by a lovely lunch. Our President,
Carol, brought along a table quiz for us all to exercise
our brains in deciphering. Our February meeting will
be our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, 13th February at
2.00pm at St Andrew's Church, North Pickenham. We
will not have a speaker but will be holding a Beetle
Drive. We look forward to welcoming our members,
plus any visitors who wish to come along and join us.
