ANNUAL REPORT OF THE NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
80 th NATIONAL CONVENTION, FRA

Shipmate National President, National Officers, Past National Officers, and shipmates of the FRA, this past year has
been one of the highlights of my life.
Shortly after my return home from the 79th National Convention in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, I had surgery on my
left foot. I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma and it had to be removed. After five days in the hospital I was
released and returned home for house rest. I was laid up to the extent that I could not put any weight or pressure on
my foot for eight weeks. I am doing great and the doctor has me on a 12 month check up schedule. I would like to
thank the shipmates and ladies for the cards, emails and prayers during my time of recovery.
It has been a privilege and an honor to serve as your National Vice President. During the year, I have been fortunate
enough to spend some time in every region and visit branches in four of the regions. I would like to say “thank you”
to the shipmates and ladies for the gracious hospitality shown to me during my travels.
