in memoriam - Fleet Reserve Association

I thank the NBOD, RVPs, PNPs and other Shipmates for their support during the past year – and I salute each of you
for your hard work and strong commitment to the Association and its mission. I would also like to express special
appreciation to NP Jerry Sweeney for his strong commitment – which during his tenure is evidenced by his visits to
183 Branches – his good counsel, effective leadership and support. I also thank NVP Larry Boudreaux and FO Paul
Rigby for their counsel and assistance.
There continues to be a strong commitment to our Shipmates and a tremendous amount of work conducted by our
outstanding NHQ Team and I want to acknowledge the entire staff for their hard work and strong support – and especially
the following senior staff members who shoulder (or shouldered) major responsibilities during the past year:
Alicia Landis, Eileen Murphy, John Davis, Penny Collins, Bob Washington, Vince Cuthie, Chris Slawinski, and
Sameer Mulla. Collectively, we work hard on behalf of the FRA and are extremely conscientious with regard to our
stewardship responsibilities of Association resources.
I am a candidate for reelection as your National Executive Secretary based primarily on my strong commitment to
the Association and its mission and thank all members of the FRA for their strong and continuing support.
