First Vice-President
PATRICIA McNULTY WOOSTER, an honor
graduate of Seattle University, earned degrees in
music and education there and pursued graduate
work at the University of Washington. In addition to
directing the Bellevue All-City Harp Ensemble, Ms.
Wooster has served as principal harpist with the
Bellevue Philharmonic and Cascade Symphony Orchestras
for many years, and has appeared as soloist
with the Bellevue Philharmonic.
She has been active in the AHS since 1970, serving
as treasurer, then president of the Seattle Chapter.
Her activities at the national level have included
participation in several National Conferences as
performer or lecturer, and serving as a judge in the
national competitions. She continues as Northwest
Regional Director, Membership Committee Chairman,
and has just completed a term as second Vice­
President.

MARGARET LING has a B.Mus. and M.Mus in harp
from the University of Michigan where she studied
with Lynne Palmer. She is currently Professor of
harp at the University of Kansas and also teaches at
the Midwestern Music and Art Camp. In 1974 she
performed at the AHS conference in Seattle, Washington,
and in 1978 served as a judge at the competitions
in Sioux Falls. This past year Ms. Ling has
been chairman of the Regional Directors. In 1975
she organized the Lyra Chapter of the AHS.
