The main purpose of the San Diego Food Bank Gala is to gather people and do something for the end of hunger in San Diego by supporting their vision and also donate money to the organization so they will work efficiently for a great cause. Jewish Federation of San Diego presented
a Brunch Club event: If You Heard What
I Heard. The event explored the power
and necessity of sharing the stories
of survivors, both of the Holocaust,
and the Hamas terrorist attacks. The event also
featured the organization If You Heard What I
Heard, a nonprofit focused on filming the stories
of grandchildren of Holocaust survivors – the last
generation to ever hear survivor stories firsthand;
some of whom were in attendance.
