The Women’s
Museum of
California celebrated
the legacy of
pioneering female
architect Lilian Rice. In 1910,
Rice became one of the first
women to graduate from
the University of California,
Berkeley architecture program.
Following a wine reception,
guests enjoyed lunch with a
special presentation by Diane
Y. Welch, official biographer of
Lilian J. Rice.
