Alexandra Moskalenko
Born in Paris, Alexandra Moskalenko comes from a family of painters of French and
Latvian/Ukrainian origins. She is a self-taught artist. Her paintings celebrate diversity
and often depict people from various ethnic origins on colourful vintage fabric,
exploring the concept of identity and displacement, informed by the artist's own
experience of coming from a multicultural background and living in London, one of the
world’s most cosmopolitan cities. The large, vibrantly coloured canvases become
statement pieces for what ‘fitting in’ or belonging may mean and question how a
character can influence an environment and vice versa.
Her recent body of work features endangered bird species and plants exploring in the
process the concept of freedom, conservation, and biodiversity. Her ‘Kiss’ series
explores the idea of feeling contented and at peace with oneself, others, nature and our
environment. The steps and the door, which represent the idea of ‘home’ and the
frontier between the man-made vs the natural environment are also metaphors for
progress, discovery and process beginning at one’s doorstep.
She has exhibited her work at the Blackheath Halls (2000), Menier Gallery (2016),
Jonaquest Art gallery (2018), Artfix (2021) and more recently at the Fresh and Affordable
Art Fair (2021 and 2022). One of her paintings ‘Madonna and Child (Mum and Kid) II’ was
shortlisted for the Brixton Art Prize and exhibited at the Department Store in Brixton (July
2022). One of her paintings was shortlisted by the Visible Artist Award (May 2023)
sponsored by Audible and is subsequently being exhibited for 3 years in the HQ of
Audible London. She has works in private collections in France, England and the United
States.

Azabache Patlache
My work explores the pictography of Mexican indigenous culture that survives despite our
colonialist history. It gives homage to the people and place where I was born and raised:
Puebla, Mexico. My prints preserve the art history of my Nahua/Mixtec roots by incorporating
Mixtec glyphs found in codices (codex). Although I now live in the United States, my heart is still
with my people in Puebla, Mexico. I remember and champion the Indigenous communities
where I am from. I want the work to also champion the women of my culture who have been so
underestimated and undervalued historically and in contemporary society.
Mr CHUNG was a Hong Kong artist in the 1960s who specialized in Chinese ink
painting. Inspired by Master XU Beihong’s creativity of Chinese modern art, Mr
art technique. Apart from traditional Chinese art themes, he was renowned for his
religious art and portraits of celebrity figures such as American President Abraham
Lincoln, Indian National Hero Mahatma Gandhi and Pope John XXIII. Some of his
Francesca Busca
As an Eco-activist, ‘Rubbish artist’ and mosaicist, Francesca pioneers’ sustainable art
by creating her artworks entirely out of waste.
Torn between optimism and surrender, she is haunted by the idea of mankind’s imminent
self-destruction. Yet she believes in a future for humanity of resourceful innovation
through re-thinking, reducing, and preventing. It is this hope that is made visible through
her work: every tessera she creates is in itself a protest against our disposable lifestyle.
In her world rubbish acquires new value and meanings, and becomes the undisputed
protagonist of her artworks, as fun and beautiful a Cinderella as she can master it to be,
from waste to wonder.
Her eco-activism encompasses every aspect of her life: vegan raising vegans, using
100% renewable energy, wearing second-hand clothes, plastic free wherever possible,
growing a vegetable and wildlife garden, not flying for the past 4 years, (…) as she strives
to live as sustainably as possible.
Ex-City solicitor, Francesca graduated with distinction at the London School of Mosaic in
2019, where she also lectured Fabrication in 2021/22. Internationally, she exhibited in
100+ venues, was published in 60+ articles and textbooks, and won 2 dozen+ awards.
She is the founder of the Payment in Kind(ness)© initiative, whereby she accepts ecofriendly
actions as payment toward her artwork, and of ArtforTrash©, whereby she uses
the clients’ own waste to create artwork for residential, institutional, and corporate
settings.
Francesca runs pro bono art projects on eco-awareness and sustainability.
She is currently collaborating with the Institute of Marine Sciences in Venice, culminating
in a permanent installation in loco during the Venice Boat show 2024 by using both the
waste from their labs and that recovered by them from the sea.

Gail Astbury
Gail was born in Blackpool in the Northwest of England and is an artist, researcher, and
educator. She trained in painting at Wimbledon School of Art under Prunella Clough
amongst others and more recently gained an MA at Goldsmiths University London in
Contemporary Arts Practices. She exhibits internationally and is commissioned by both
private and corporate clients as well as teaching watercolour painting at OPEN Ealing
Arts Centre. Gail currently lives and works in Westminster London and has a studio in
Limoges in southwest France.
Her paintings are often serialised, informed by contemporary culture, the arts and
cinematography. Although built from observed realities and lived experiences, her
paintings become fictional spaces where many inputs are distilled into a palpable set of
rhythmic images. She takes a broad approach to methods and materials that
encompasses processes, from classical to modern to contemporary image making. She
takes her own photographs to draw reference from and uses trial-and-error methods of
cropping, colour reduction and rearranging to arrive at her compositions.
In terms of subject matter, her work addresses themes such as urbanisation, nature,
love, identity, and nostalgia. She describes herself as 'a painter looking to hold onto
precious moments in a world of flux.

Giulia Mastracchio
"In the acrylic on canvas series titled "Behind Every Great Man is a Great Woman," I
merge my artistic passion with a commitment to intersectional feminism.
Using pop culture iconic cartoon characters, I challenge societal norms by portraying
female figures donned in the costumes of their male partners.
This series serves as a bold statement, inviting viewers to critically engage with and
appreciate the often-overlooked contributions of women in shaping the foundations of
our community. I aim to prompt contemplation on the intricate dynamics of society,
spotlighting the strength and influence of female figures”.
London, where he has lived for 11 years. His artistic journey is deeply intertwined with
the dynamic world of the stock market, capturing its highs, lows, and everything in
merely a numerical domain, aiming to present stories in a visually compelling way,
making his art relatable not just to investors but to a wider audience who use the
products of these companies every day, inextricably linking the viewer to the piece.
Stefan's creative process is as unique as his art, utilising online trading platforms and
real analytical techniques to craft his pieces, ensuring that each chart is a genuine
snapshot of the market. Drawing inspiration from various facets of the financial world,
including meme stocks and financial crashes, he imbues his work with a sense of
immediacy and relevance. The end result is revealed in his trademark colourful
