It began like most days.
A delicious, peaceful warmth being interrupted
by an alarm which was followed by a grunt.
As one foot chased the other to the coffee
machine, my internal sun began to shine.
A few minutes later the bitter beauty was doing
its job and my nticipation of the day drew a
smile.
Today’s run has been 20 years in the making.
Each kilometre would say thanks to the hundreds
of driven Queenslanders that held a reverence
for their MX5 above trivialities like sleep, rain &
cold.
Hundreds of Queenslanders had built our club
for fun and as I backed out of the garage, I said a
silent thanks.
