Monte Bluna is a boutique winery from Portugal,
Lisbon, producing fine wines with own grapes AOC/-
DOC Arruda. Arruda dos Vinhos is one of the ancients
and best winemaking regions of Portugal (hence the
name “dos Vinhos” – of the Wines).
We handcraft unique wines, taking advantage of the
rare terroir conditions this place has to offer, allied with
altitude, an innovation that we introduced as all our
wines come from the highest places of Lisbon region.
Currently we have 4 exclusive wine brands, all with
numbered bottles and very limited productions:
-Bluníssima, wine from special vineyards only released
in the best years
We use no herbicides or similar products guaranteeing
preservation and diversity. The oenology is made with
native yeasts and is 100% qualitative oriented, without
mimicry or masks.
Monte Bluna minimal intervention wines express the
variety, the year, the location and all cultural operations,
believing in absolute control and involvement as a
vehicle for minimalism.
Monte Bluna’s wines are commercialized in high-end
restaurants and hotels and in the most prestigious
cellars.
From an ancestral land, the best wine, when nature
wants it – this is our commitment.
-Tictac, international varietal wines with labels made of
wood
-Monte Bluna Reserva, wines blended with the best
grapes of our estate each year
-Monte Bluna Rare Varietals, low-alcohol gastronomical
wines made with extinct native varieties (e.g. Tinta
Miúda and Vital)
