Chamber announces membership
fee will be frozen for 2024-25
The Black Country Chamber of
Commerce has announced
membership fees will be frozen for the
forthcoming financial year to help firms
during a time of economic uncertainty.
Member companies, ranging from
fledgling firms which sign up to the
Start-Up group through to the top level
Patron organisations, will pay the same
price as the current year for April 2024
until March 2025.
CEO Sarah Moorhouse said the
decision had been taken in recognition of
the challenges faced by Chamber
members. She said: “At a time when
inflation, the cost of living and increased
energy tariffs, are just a few of the
pressures faced by businesses, we were
keen to support our members by holding
prices for the next financial year at the
current levels.
“After some challenging years, money
is understandably still at the forefront of
people’s minds and many are tightening
budgets, so we have taken this decision
on the back of the resounding message I
have shared since becoming CEO, that
Chamber members should be assured
‘we’ve got your back’.
“While this step will help businesses
financially, we are sure that the enhanced
Chamber team will build stronger
relationships than ever before as we help
member companies through our drive to
