Following the launch of Samsung’s latest
rugged devices (XCover7 and Tab Active5),
we kicked off the first in a series of
Samsung Rugged roadshows designed to
showcase the devices’ rugged credentials
and promote our supporting accessory
brand partners.
Each event included a complete product
overview from the Samsung team, before
inviting attendees to join in an interactive
demonstration of the devices, including
drop testing, submerging them in water,
and being buried in sand!
During the roadshow, teams participated
in a short quiz for the chance to win some
great prizes.

Abu Dhabi earlier in the month as a result of

Our guests were whisked off to Nurai Island, a
boutique private island paradise like nowhere else,

Rotana Resort & Villas, located on the pristine

Charlotte Hurst.
Mobile Team Sales Manager
Having started my career with
Data Select in June 2019, I’ve been
on the journey of progression with
the team ever since.
I started out as a Key Account
Manager, then Team Leader and
more recently Sales Manager
of the mobile team. I love being
part of a leading team within the
industry and alongside managing
our BDMs, continuing to create
strong relationships with all
our customers and helping grow
our business and market share
within them.
Being part of Data Select has been
an excellent platform to meeting
great people who have helped me
and been an integral part of my
progression. In addition to the day-today
running of the team and working
with customers, I also enjoy working
alongside our brand partners who
help enhance our mobile offering.

Product Manager
I have worked at Data Select for
just over one year now and in my
role as Product Manager, I have
worked with Samsung managing
the retail business and working
closely with our key retailers.
This included forecasting stock
and sales, promotion execution
and ensuring we have a clear
commercial structure in place
for all categories.
More recently I have been working
with our strategic brands on the
B2B side of the business, liaising
with our sales teams ensuring we
are pro-actively driving activities to
support sales, managing day-today
relationships, on-boarding new
brand partners, range building and
exploring opportunities to increase
our market share. This has allowed
me to develop my skills further and
continue to grow in my role.
