Health & Fitness<br />

The Williston Fitness Center <strong>of</strong>fers<br />

a variety <strong>of</strong> group fitness classes that<br />

are included with your membership:<br />

Zumba, Body Pump, Spinning,<br />

Pilates, and Yoga.<br />

The facility is open to the public for use<br />

and classes. The daily guest fee is $8.<br />

Closed<br />

Easter, Memorial Day, July 4,<br />

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New<br />

Year’s Day. No classes are held on these<br />

holidays.<br />

The classes below are <strong>of</strong>fered to nonmembers<br />

<strong>of</strong> the facility, as well as<br />

members.<br />

Arthritis Water Aerobics<br />

This water aerobics program is designed<br />

for people with arthritis and related joint<br />

conditions. This program uses gentle activities<br />

in warmer water, with guidance from a trained<br />

instructor. All arthritis classes are free to<br />

Williston Fitness Center members.<br />

Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays<br />

Time: 8–8:50 a.m. & 10–10:50 a.m.<br />

Fee: $5<br />

Holiday 8 – Boot Camp<br />

Join our 8-day express boot camp and get fit, not fat,<br />

this holiday season! It’s that time <strong>of</strong> year… you’re<br />

busy, food and treats are everywhere and you can’t find<br />

time to go to the gym. Well, join us for this 30-minute<br />

butt-kicking class that will include cardio, strength<br />

training, and plyometric drills!<br />

The first week will be held Monday–Friday, and week<br />

two will be held Monday–Wednesday.<br />

Hot Shoes Muscle Dance<br />

Hot Shoes one-hour workout combines a uniquely choreographed 30-minute Aerobic<br />

Dance segment with a 30-minute toning segment. Our Hot List <strong>of</strong> benefits includes: The<br />

Pilates Method using a whole body approach to gaining strength and improving flexibility<br />

by accessing your deepest core, Yoga postures for balance and well-being. Apparatus<br />

included: Resistance bands, stability ball, hand weights, barre work and more.<br />

Note: Members and non-members must register for these classes. Non-members who<br />

have not pre-registered must pay the $8 guest fee, plus $4 to try one class. Members who<br />

have not pre-registered will be charged $4 to try one class.<br />

Dancing and Romancing!<br />

Do you yearn to have a fun and romantic “date” with your honey on Friday<br />

evenings? Do you want a fun social activity that is great exercise? Do you need to<br />

prepare for a wedding or special occasion? Or maybe you have forgotten dances<br />

you learned previously? Then you will want to join “Just Gotta Dance!” to hone<br />

your ballroom dancing skills! In these classes, couples (Ages 16 and older) will<br />

learn or review basics <strong>of</strong> the most popular ballroom dances—just like those<br />

showcased on “Dancing with the Stars!” Spend four fun-filled Friday evenings<br />

learning each ballroom dance. Then it’s time to dance! Bring your friends and<br />

you can all go dancing together! Students are welcome to register for both<br />

sessions. Bring ballroom dance shoes, leather or suede–soled shoes, or you can<br />

dance in stocking feet. A practice CD with appropriate dance music for two will<br />

be available from the instructor for $10.<br />
