On April 7th, before a capacity<br />
crowd <strong>of</strong> distinguished jurists,<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essors, alumni and students,<br />
Chief Justice John G. Roberts,<br />
Jr. <strong>of</strong> the Supreme Court <strong>of</strong> the<br />
United States delivered the 9th<br />
annual James P. White Lecture on<br />
Legal Education in the Wynne<br />
Courtroom. The Chief Justice, who grew<br />
up in Northwest <strong>Indiana</strong>, and whose first<br />
legal position as a summer clerk was at Ice<br />
Miller in <strong>Indiana</strong>polis, declared he was very<br />
glad to be “back home again in <strong>Indiana</strong>.”
