The establishment of WALDEMAR LINK GmbH & Co. KG
dates back to January 1948, when it was founded as a supplier
of instruments and hospital supplies. Since the early
70s, LINK has become a leading pioneer in the fast-developing
field of total joint replacement systems.
The innovative design of LINK’s anatomical Lubinus SP
Total Hip System in 1978 and the Endo-Model ® Rotational
Knee System in 1979 made LINK products a permanent fixture
on the international market, a position it holds to this
day.

market and the years that followed were shaped by state-ofthe-art
technological development and dynamic expansion.
