stockings, supports, orthoses, orthopedic insoles, and prosthetic

The medium-sized family business, founded in Zeulenroda,
Thuringia, in 1929, is one of the industry’s market leaders. Bauerfeind
has approximately 1,800 employees in Germany, as well as 15 subsidiaries

label and some of the production steps involve authentic handcrafting.
The development of the GenuTrain knee support was a milestone in
the company’s history. It was the first anatomically contoured knee

Bauerfeind also sets standards in the field of measuring systems.
With its ability to take precise, three-dimensional measurements of
the legs, Image 3D makes it possible to provide perfectly fitting compression
stockings. Image 3D can also be used as a reliable way of
monitoring a course of treatment.
