ideal solution for each project. The
Geothermal Division has been operative
since January 2008, serving
private, commercial and industrial
sectors in new-building and refurbishment
projects. After establishing
requirements, soil constitution
and a heat-source concept, completion
of the geothermal installation
can get underway. The end result
is an effective system, from the
tip of the probe all the way to the
power outlets in the building.
Reducing energy costs has become
an ever-present concern.
Whether in the media, the boardroom
or at home, saving is certainly
in fashion, especially given
the all-pervasive economic crisis.
Pair saving with environmental
gain and you’ve hit the jackpot, as
Wirtschaftsbetrieb Mainz did with
its sewage treatment plant. The
probe field there has been in operation
since late 2009 – after just
eight weeks of construction. The
newly constructed administrative
building required 33 bore holes at
a depth of 150 metres each, with a
total of 1,580 metres of connecting
lines between probes and distributor
shaft. These impressive figures
only hint at the geological challenge
that is the Mainz basin – a challenge
tackled with enthusiasm by
ALPINE-ENERGIE from the ground
to the installations room. //
The Styrian
region, the
Upper- and
Lower-Austrian
Molasse Basin
and the Vienna
Basin are all particularly
well
suited geologically
to the harnessing
of geothermal
energy.
ALPINE-ENERGIE’s expertise encompasses the most diverse applications, and it
is driving sustainability on a variety of levels and dimensions, including efficient
time management and regulatory know-how.
TECHNICAL COLLEGE IN SAXONY-ANHALT The newly built canteen and
auditorium reduce annual energy costs by half.
MAINz SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT The new administrative building
was built in eight weeks despite challenging geological conditions.
LINDLAR ACADEMY Lang AG’s new training facility was equipped with a
total of 8,815 metres of probes.
the municipality thanks to optimised running costs for energy.
