Chris oldfield, managing director of shredding specialist
UNTHA UK, has over 40 years’ industry experience. A
passionate advocate of the ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ philosophy, Chris is
dedicated to increasing the UK’s commitment to alternative fuel production.
He has supplied shredding technology to many of the UK’s food waste plants
for use in AD.

HugH BuLson
Managing Director
Organic Resource Agency
Hugh Bulson is MD of oRA which he co-founded in 1996.
He maintains an active consultancy role on projects
involving the procurement, commissioning and optimisation of AD, MBT and
iVC facilities. Hugh works with clients in the private and public sectors on
PFi /PPP projects and on merchant and agricultural facilities.

Director of the Wales Centre of Excellence
for Anaerobic Digestion
University of Glamorgan
Dr sandra Esteves has 16 years’ experience in
anaerobic digestion technology and works at the University of glamorgan
where she is a senior researcher within the sustainable Environment
Research Centre and also the director of the Wales Centre of Excellence
for anaerobic digestion, a centre which acts as a process development
and deployment support platform and delivers industrial focused R&D.

Xylem Water Solutions
Born on a diary farm, Eilert has a Diploma in Agricultural
engineering at the University of göttingen and a Doctor
degree at the University of Kiel. Eilert has been working for Flygt since 1986
in the agriculture business and since the beginning 1990s in the biogas
business as well. Five years ago he took over the responsibility to develop
the biogas business for Xylem worldwide. Eilert is a member of the board of
companies in the german Biogas Association.

Director
Malaby Martin Ltd
Thomas is director of Malaby Biogas and Malaby Martin.
Together the two businesses have developed the Bore Hill
Farm Biodigester as phase one of a regeneration scheme on the outskirts
of Warminster in Wiltshire. With a history of increasingly sustainable
development of rural properties Thomas has a unique perspective on the
growth of AD as a renewable technology.

Senior Analyst
Committee on Climate Change
Dr David Joffe is a senior analyst on technology and
energy systems at the Committee on Climate Change. He
leads the analysis on long-term emissions reduction, and worked on the ‘best
uses’ of scarce bioenergy resources across the economy within the CCC
Bioenergy Review.

A former corporate lawyer with an MBA from london
Business school and an llB in English and French law
from the london school of Economics, Charlotte is an entrepreneur with a
passion for the environment. Charlotte is determined to ensure that ADBA
maximises the potential of the anaerobic digestion and biogas industry, and
that a supportive regulatory environment with appropriate standards, training
and finance is created to secure the industry’s future.

Mr Nash, chairman of gasrec, is active in the environment
and renewable energy sectors as a non-exec director
of NTR plc (wind and solar development, bio fuels, waste recycling), EVo
Electric limited (electric vehicle technology) and until recently Zenergy
Power (superconductor energy technology) – in addition to being a director
of Current opengrid limited (smart grid solutions).

Future Biogas Ltd
Future Biogas, a biogas project developer and operator,
operates two 1.5MW plants in Norfolk and is shortly
starting construction on two further plants, one being a gas injection unit.
Philipp has a background in law and renewables having worked in the city
and run a leading cellulosic ethanol developer.
