Mr. Locken’s Lemonade Party!<br />
Students will continue to work towards earning<br />
invitations to bi-monthly Lemonade Parties this<br />
year!<br />
Students at Bertrun E. Glavin have been making<br />
the selection process to the Lemonade Parties<br />
very difficult for the teachers. Students can earn<br />
an invitation to sit with Mr. Locken on Friday and<br />
enjoy a cool glass of lemonade and conversation<br />
with students from each of the classrooms from<br />
every grade level. <strong>The</strong> criteria for selection is<br />
very simple, students can be recognized for any special effort, accomplishment or act of<br />
kindness that stands out in their teachers mind.<br />
Keep working hard and maybe it will be you at the next Lemonade Party!<br />
Remembrance Day Assembly<br />
We will hold our annual Remembrance Day Service on Thursday,<br />
<strong>November</strong> 9 th at 10:40am. Students will reflect on the meaning of<br />
Remembrance Day, honouring and thanking the many soldiers who<br />
fought for human rights.<br />
Kindergarten AM Love their Reading Buddies<br />
<strong>The</strong> morning Kindergarten class and the grade 4 students enjoy each others company and<br />
reading skills during our monthly Buddy reading. <strong>The</strong> younger students are always very<br />
excited to spend time with a grade 4 buddy.
