3.2. Transportation costs
An integral part of the costs of access to health care for the target population of this study is comprised
by the costs of transportation to and from various locations in the interior. Given the distances, these
costs can be substantial, and oftentimes a reason for persons not to seek help in the city. Inserted is a
map of the Medical Mission and a random selection of some of the 30 the locations where they are
present.
