1912, 50 mm, bronze, Whitehead-Hoag; obverse: profile portrait of
Charles Dickens flanked by 1812 and 1912; reverse: text “To commemorate
the one hundreth anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens Issued
by the Dickens Centenary Committee of New York February 7 1912”
within laurel garland; dark patina with some wear to edges, VF

1930’s; 51mm x 88mm; silver plated bronze with polychrome enamel;
artist: Drago; obverse: depicts Art Deco streamlined Figoni et Falaschi
Talbot-Lego vehicle in the foreground with greyhound and flying flags;
embossed scenic background showing the shoreline of Cannes; medallion
top central with insignia for the Automobile Club de Cannes; reverse:
blank; participant’s medal for the Rallye Soleil Cannes; some wear to
silver patina mainly to edges; very minor flakes to enamel surface; exceptionally
attractive and colorful; EX

1912, 50mm; bronze; artist: Rene Baudichon obverse: depicts 1912
Peugot Lion race car, reverse: top half depicts Peugot factory, lower half
depicts “Lion” symbol of lion in profile in front of car wheel and arrow;
lettering across top “Societe Anonyme Des Automobiles et Cycles”; this
medallion commemorates the exceptionally influential race car developed
by driver-engineers Goux, Zuccarelli and Boillot, engineering a dual
overhead cam 7.6 liter four cylinder that won the 1912 French Grand Prix
and setting a lap record at the Indianapolis 500 and served as inspiration
for race cars throughout the 20th Century; overall wear to surface with
some loss of detail, particularly to “Peugot” script on reverse; nice patina;
some dents and/or casting flaws; great racing imagery; Fine to VF

embossed globe within larger stylized gear, F. I. A. across globe; reverse:

lettering: 1904 1954 Federation Internationale de L’Automobile; engraved
plaque: Magyar Nepkoztarsasag Automobil Klubja; awarded to
motor club by the sanctioning body for all international auto racing; nice
