proud Germany; relevance: Hindenburg and Hitler, sitting in a tree, k-is-s-i-n-g<br />
(just kidding); this medal commemorates the unhappy alliance<br />
between Hindenburg and Hitler as he is appointed as Chancellor; as the<br />
aristocratic Hindenburg did not realize that Hitler was not going to serve<br />
as a mouthpiece, but would later prove to become Nazi party leader and<br />
