<strong>IMCAS</strong> started in 1995, in Paris, France, as a congress dedicated to plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Since its conception, <strong>IMCAS</strong> has<br />
sought to bridge the knowledge vacuum between Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology, thereby generating a synergetic<br />
and mutually reinforcing interface among these two fields.<br />
3 - <strong>IMCAS</strong> Today<br />
What began more than a decade ago has now grown in terms of participation and renown. As such, <strong>IMCAS</strong> has become one of the most<br />
important international courses dedicated to Aging Skin Treatments. Our Annual Congress is annually held in Paris during the month of<br />
January and welcomes more than 4 000 delegates from 80 different countries.<br />

Admission is by badge only. An adult must accompany chlidren under the age of 16.<br />
<strong>IMCAS</strong> strictly complies with the criteria required for CME accreditation. That is why the access to the conferences is subject to a number of strict rules,<br />
aiming to guarantee the scientific independence of the conferences, and to preserve it from any commercial interest or influence. A precise Badge Policy<br />
has been implemented, specifying the rules related to the admittance to the different areas of <strong>IMCAS</strong> conferences.<br />
<strong>IMCAS</strong> Badge Policy is mandatory for all the participants. Its violation will authorize <strong>IMCAS</strong> Staff to take measures in order to restore the order, and may lead<br />
to the withdrawal of the badge and the prohibition of access to the conference area. According to each participant’s status (delegate, faculty, exhibitor,<br />
etc...), a corresponding code bared badge is issued.<br />

ELECTRIC STANDARDS<br />
The standard electrical voltage in HK is 220 volts AC, 50HZ, so 100-volt appliances and electrical equipment require an adaptor. Also, note that most<br />

The unit of currency is the Hong Kong dollar (HK$). It is pegged to the US$ at approximately HK$7.8 (as of April 2012). Most foreign currencies and<br />

Hong Kong’s climate is sub-tropical, tending towards temperate for nearly half the year. From October to December there are pleasant breezes, plenty of<br />

Autumn is generally considered as the most pleasant season. Temperatures are still high (20-27°C) while humidity and rainfall are considerably lower.<br />

‘FORCE MAJEURE’<br />
The Organizers reserve the right to modify dates, time schedules, floor plans and programs caused by “Force Majeure”. “Force majeure” is defined as<br />
incidents beyond anyone’s control, extenuating circumstances out of the control of the Organizers (such as but not limited to general strike, invasions,<br />
hostilities, war, rioting or similar situations which prevent performance of the contract) or acts-of-God (such as but not limited to epidemics, floods, volcanic<br />
eruption, earthquakes or other convulsions of nature and other acts). In that case, the application remains binding.<br />
In the case of event cancellation caused by, or resulting from, directly or indirectly “Force Majeure”, the Organizers will notify the Exhibitor. The contract<br />
between the <strong>IMCAS</strong> and the Exhibitor shall automatically terminate, and <strong>IMCAS</strong> may retain as liquidated damages any and all fees paid by the Exhibitor.<br />
<strong>IMCAS</strong> NON-COMPETITION POLICY<br />
1. A firm or a laboratory exhibiting at <strong>IMCAS</strong>, except prior approval from <strong>IMCAS</strong> Secretariat, cannot organize any seminars or workshops during the:<br />
- preceding 24 hours<br />
- entire duration of the congress<br />
- following 24 hours<br />
2. It is not permitted to use any rental space to organize activities such as symposia, workshops, demonstrations or lectures without prior approval from<br />
<strong>IMCAS</strong> Secretariat. It is strongly forbidden to involve <strong>IMCAS</strong> participants in any of the above-mentioned activities.<br />
LIABILITY<br />
The Organizer shall not be liable to the Exhibitor or to any other person for:<br />
- loss of life<br />
- injury to person<br />
- loss or damage to property or goods<br />
INSURANCE<br />
ASIA 2012<br />
Exhibitors are advised to be fully ensured by their own insurance policy including, but not limited to, risks to their property and goods, public liability, and<br />
loss or damage caused by circumstantial reasons such as fire, water, theft, and accidents.<br />
Exhibitors shall insure against, indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless with respect to all costs, claims, demands and expenses to which the Organizer<br />
may in any way be subjected as a result of any loss to the public or any persons present at the event, caused as a result of any act of the default of the<br />
Exhibitors and their affiliates, agents and contractors.<br />
COMPLIANCE WITH THE LEGISLATION OF HONG KONG<br />
1. What about displaying your product(s) during the exhibition?<br />
Exhibitors must ensure that their products displayed, exposed or utilized during the event are legally approved under the HONG KONG law.<br />
You have therefore the following choices:<br />
- either exhibit products that are already registered in HONG KONG, the aim being that the registered doctors can buy the product in HONG<br />
KONG afterwards through a registered distributor<br />
- or present studies of the product to be soon registered. In that case, the product by itself will not be available in «real» but only through<br />
brochures or flyers.<br />
2. What about selling your product(s) during the exhibition?<br />
Any purchase made by the attendee should be done in exchange of a registered invoice, meaning that your company must be legally registered in HONG<br />
KONG. If this is not the case, a local distributor is the solution.<br />
3.What about demonstrating your product(s) during a symposium or/and a live demonstration?<br />
To perform a demo on a living patient, the practitioner:<br />
- should be either a physician board certified within the country in which the congress takes place<br />
- or if not the case:<br />
- he/she should apply for a visiting license OR<br />
- he/she should be accompanied by a physician who is him/herself board certified within the country in which the congress takes<br />

this case, they must forward their selected constructor’s name with their full contact to the Organizer. The selected<br />
constructor must coordinate with and abide by all terms and conditions of the <strong>IMCAS</strong> Official Constructor and the<br />
Venue.<br />
- Exhibitors with independent constructor must submit 2 digital copies of technical drawing of their tailored-made<br />
design booth with exact dimensions to <strong>IMCAS</strong> Secretariat within September, 1st 2012.<br />
- On the set-up day, <strong>IMCAS</strong> Official Contractor will be in charge of floor marking.<br />
- Tailored-made booths must not disturb or intrude upon general environment or cause inconveniences to<br />
neighboring booths.<br />
- In case of conflict, <strong>IMCAS</strong> Official Contractor will be in charge of judgment. Any damages or nuisance caused to<br />
the venue or the neighboring booths will be fixed by <strong>IMCAS</strong> Official Contractor and the expenses will be billed to the<br />

A. SPONSORING A LEAD RETRIEVAL<br />
A barcode will be printed on the badges of all registered participants.<br />
This barcode contains a unique number which relates to the participant record in the registration<br />
database. This record holds all contacts and information, as provided by the participant on the<br />
registration form.<br />
Simply scan the barcode on the participant’s badge and all data will be stored in the scanner. It is<br />
mandatory to return the scanner at the end of each conference day to recharge the battery and<br />
ckeck the number of scanned data.<br />
Lead retrieval is a perfect marketing tool for capturing and follow – up of sales leads generated at<br />
<strong>IMCAS</strong> ASIA 2012.<br />
It is a growing technology solution for our Exhibitors to obtain the best possible return on investment<br />
and take advantage of tools allowing them to learn more about each attendee that visits their Booth.<br />
Sponsorship includes:<br />
- a scanner rented for the duration of the exhibition<br />
- two weeks after the end of the conference, an Excel file with all the detailed contact/lead<br />
information of the scanned participants will be mailed electronically to your company<br />
B. PLACING YOUR ORDER<br />
The confirmation of your order in writing must be received by <strong>IMCAS</strong> Secretariat by September, 1<br />
2012.<br />
B. CANCELLATION:<br />
- Cancellation must be made in writing.<br />
- For cancellation received before July 15, 2012: 50% of the total invoice is charged.<br />
- Cancellation received after July 15, 2012: no refund. Total invoice is due.<br />
- In case of no payment within deadlines, the Organizer will allocate your booth to the next company on the waiting list without prior notice.
