CHRIS PERLEBERG, Sr., Jamestown, ND...Emerged as the<br />

feature distance runner, especially in the steeplechase, in his first year with<br />

the Herd after transferring from NAIA Jamestown (ND) College...<strong>2003</strong><br />

league and maybe the nation...Two-time career All-American in the sprints<br />

and a major contributor as the anchorman in the short relays...<strong>2003</strong><br />

(Sophomore): Five-time conference placewinner and an NCAA qualifier<br />

in four events...Indoor--NCC runner-up in the 60 and 200 meters...Qualified<br />

for the NCAA meet in the 60 but did not make the finals...Outdoor--Won<br />

conference titles in the 100 and 200 meters and anchored the NCC<br />

champion 400 relay unit that clocked a 40.95 to qualify for the NCAAs...<br />

Ran the third leg of the league championship 1,600 relay that clocked in at<br />
