Music and contemplation: when we listen to music, our minds
automatically shut down, our thoughts evaporate, our past-andfuture
selves disappear. For a moment, we are in the moment: the
God-place within us. I go to music to be in meditation, to be close
to my Creative Source. In the rests between notes, I find cosmic
peace, like a child asleep in a mother’s loving arms.
