georgIa (welCh) tangI ‘67 had a solo show entitled Memory and
Narrative at the ohio state university faculty Club in Columbus oh
from July – august 2008. she earned a bachelor’s degree from the
kansas City art Institute and a doctorate in interdisciplinary arts from
osu. she has been art department director at kentucky wesleyan
College and has taught at the university of kentucky, Columbus state
Community College, and franklin university.
daVId allen ‘70 has launched a new company named greenBird,
llC, which manufactures and markets biodegradable paper birdhouses.
Constructed from a special laminated paperboard that is made

from recycled paper, the houses last one nesting season and help
