for implantation
SIMPLY WELL THOUGHT OUT
The patented and proven Tube-in-Tube construction ensures a precise,
mechanically sturdy and rotationally stable connection between CAMLOG ®
implant and CAMLOG ® abutment.
Handling of the CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments is practical and logical – like
everything from CAMLOG. The CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments come colorcoded
and sterile packed. When immediately inserted into the implant, sterilization
of the abutment as recommended is not required.
On straight abutments, the antirotational mechanism for crown restorations
is ensured by three surfaces, on angled abutments, by one surface.
CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments: straight, 20° and 30° angled
The detailed dimensions of the CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments and more informations are
available from the working instruction “Occlusally screw-retained restorations with Vario SR
prosthetic components on CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments”, Art. No. J8000.0124.
SIMPLY PRACTICAL
• Impression-taking possible over the CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutment
shoulder or CAMLOG ® implant shoulder
• Specific Vario SR components available for impression-taking and cast
fabrication
• Specific Vario SR protection and titanium caps available for temporary
restorations
• Standardized fabrication of the prosthetic restoration thanks to
prefabricated components
SIMPLY PROVEN
• Choice between cement-retained or occlusally screw-retained crown and
bridge constructions for the CAMLOG ® Implant System
• Aligning tool for checking the respective prosthetic insertion direction
and alignment of the implant grooves
SIMPLY MORE OPTIONS
The new Vario SR prosthetic components extend the application possibilities
of the CAMLOG ® Implant System in prosthetic restorations.
OCCLUSALLY SCREW-RETAINED RESTORATION
With the new Vario SR prosthetic components, you now have the option of
fabricating occlusally screw-retained crown and bridge restorations with
the CAMLOG ® Implant System. Bar structures are also possible.
CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments are available in straight and angled versions for implant
diameters 3.8/4.3/5.0/6.0 mm. Straight CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments are fixed in
the implant using the CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutment screw.
ANATOMICALLY CHALLENGING AREAS
20° and 30° angled Vario SR abutments are available for bridging large
implant axis divergences. Where bone supply is reduced and anatomical
structures are unfavorable for implantation, the implants can be placed
in the distal direction and an appropriate prosthetic restoration can be
created. Optimum use of the bone supply is thus ensured.
INDIVIDUAL IMPRESSION-TAKING OPTIONS
For bridge and bar constructions, the impression can be taken using
Vario SR impression caps, open or closed tray, directly over the CAMLOG ®
Vario SR abutment already in its final position in the implant. If space is
limited, you can shorten the retention screw of the impression cap, open
tray, by 3 mm extra-orally. For crown restorations, the impression can be
taken directly over the CAMLOG ® implant shoulder using CAMLOG ®
impression posts, open or closed tray.
PREFABRICATED PROSTHETIC COMPONENTS
The Vario SR components enable easy, standardized fabrication of prosthetic
restorations. Burn-out plastic copings can be used to fabricate cast
crown and bridge constructions. The titanium caps have a retention surface
on the outside and are designed for temporary or final bridge constructions
made out of plastic. For laser-welded bar constructions, titanium bases for
bars are available.
STRAIGHT CAMLOG ® VARIO SR ABUTMENTS
Straight CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments are fixed in the implant using the
CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutment screw. The Vario SR caps are secured
using the Vario SR prosthetic screw when inserting the superstructure.
The prosthetic screw engages in the thread in the head of the CAMLOG ®
Vario SR abutment screw and fixes the cap to the abutment.
NEW 20° AND 30° ALIGNING TOOLS FOR BETTER HANDLING
AND MORE TIME SAVINGS
If you are placing several implants, the Vario SR 20° and 30° aligning tools
can be used to check the respective insertion direction and alignment of the
implant grooves before inserting the CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments.
Just put the respective aligning tool over the insertion post attached to the
CAMLOG ® implant. If necessary, you can slightly adjust the alignment of
the grooves of the inner implant configuration.
The angulation of the Vario SR aligning tools is identical to the 20° and 30°
angled CAMLOG ® Vario SR abutments.
